The journal Physical Chemistry Research is pleased to announce a Call for Cover Art submissions from January 2026.
We invite authors, researchers, and artists working in areas related to the scope of Physical Chemistry Research to submit original, high-quality images for consideration as cover artwork for upcoming issues of the journal. Submitted images should visually represent scientific concepts, results, or methodologies within physical chemistry and closely related fields.
Cover art submissions may include, but are not limited to, visually compelling representations of:
Molecular and electronic structures
Spectroscopy and photochemistry
Computational and theoretical chemistry
Surface and materials chemistry
Thermodynamics, kinetics, and statistical mechanics
Image Specifications:
Minimum resolution: 300 dpi
Recommended dimensions: at least 2400 × 3200 pixels (portrait orientation preferred)
Accepted formats: TIFF, PNG, or high-quality JPEG
Images should be clear, sharp, and suitable for print and online publication
Any text, labels, or symbols (if included) must remain legible after resizing
All submitted images must be original and unpublished and should not infringe on any copyright. Selected cover images will be prominently featured on the journal cover and appropriately acknowledged.
We warmly encourage our authors and the broader physical chemistry community to participate in this initiative and contribute to the visual identity of Physical Chemistry Research.
